However you can matte it to show only the closing phrase “Warmest best wishes- Red Barber”. Barber's connections to the Brooklyn Dodgers and N.Y. Yankees are legendry, and he’s a tough autograph. He died Oct. 22, 1992, Tallahassee, Fla., and is in the Baseball Hall Of Fame. There is a minor indentation through the date where a paperclip was affixed.
